At Stoney Nakoda Nation, against the backdrop of the Canadian Rockies, the Stoney Nakoda Health Centre Addition and Modernization project stands as a tangible outcome of both efficient and pragmatic construction decisions. The 930-square-meter, wood-framed addition reflects a community’s commitment to functional upgrades and addressing practical healthcare needs. With a phased construction strategy, the new wing of the healthcare facility took precedence, allowing for the relocation of occupants from the existing wing before renovating the previously existing structure. The completed project provides modern exam rooms, an efficient pharmacy, collaborative offices, a functional radiography room, a dentist clinic, and space for a future dialysis area.
