Lethbridge Alberta Surgical Initiative

Shunda successfully delivered the Lethbridge Chinook Regional Hospital expansion, a strategic project to meet the growing healthcare needs of Southern Alberta. The work included five specialized inpatient units, two state-of-the-art surgical operating rooms with supporting spaces, and a redeveloped Medical Device Reprocessing Department equipped with advanced sterilization technology. Enhancements to environmental services, such as improved air filtration and waste management systems, further strengthened hospital safety and hygiene. Through careful planning and collaboration, Shunda integrated these upgrades seamlessly into the existing facility with minimal disruption, creating durable, efficient, and future-ready spaces that will benefit patients, staff, and the community for years to come.
