Rocky Mountain House Alberta Surgical Initiative

The Alberta Surgical Initiative project at Rocky Mountain House Health Centre marked a significant development aimed at enhancing healthcare infrastructure and services within the Central Alberta region. The focal point of this initiative was the construction of a new facility that seamlessly integrated with the existing building, strategically positioned in the north courtyard. This newly planned addition houses critical components such as the Medical Devices Reprocessing Department (MDRD) and a new state-of-the-art Operating Room (OR). Alongside the OR, the facility also incorporates dedicated spaces for recovery and support, ensuring a comprehensive and efficient healthcare environment.
