Father Lacombe School

This project featured the phased construction of a 2-storey K-9 school in Lacombe, Alberta with targeted LEED Silver Certification. The 3,196 square meter building was predominately constructed of standard, non-combustible materials as well as some specialty finishes and custom designs in areas such as gathering spaces.Additional requirements of the project involved the demolition of the existing school that the new school would replace. Construction took place in three phases while the existing school remained occupied for the duration of the project. Sitework included a new parking lot located at the north west corner of the property as well as a new parent drop-off lane from 54th Ave, new landscaping around the building and space for a future playground.
